Welcome back, Chiefs! As we cross the finish line of the February 2026 season, the competition in the Home Village is reaching a boiling point. With Town Hall 18 metas stabilizing and the new “Prospector” helper making ore farming easier, there’s a lot to manage before the March season reset.
Note on February 29: Since 2026 is a common year, today (Feb 28) is the final day of the month! We’ve optimized this guide to help you secure every last reward before the Season Bank pays out tomorrow, March 1st.
Today’s Rewards & Active Bonuses
Before you start your final raids of the month, make sure you’ve collected these active bonuses:
- Season Bank Payout (Countdown): Less than 24 hours remain! Ensure your storages are empty so you can fit the millions of Gold and Elixir coming your way tomorrow.
- The Prospector’s Yield: Check your new Prospector helper. If you’ve been feeding him excess resources, today is the day to collect your Glowy and Starry Ores.
- Trader Refresh: The Trader has a Free Training Potion waiting in the “Daily Deals” tab.
- Supercell Store Teaser: Head to the official Supercell Store to claim your 50 Free Points, which can put you closer to the “Book of Building” reward tier.
February 2026 Special Event: Year of the Fire Horse
This month’s Lunar New Year theme has brought a unique “Floating Temple” aesthetic to the game.
- The Fire Horse King Skin: If you have the Gold Pass, make sure you’ve hit the final tier to unlock the Barbarian King’s fire-themed skin.
- Epic Equipment Spotlight: The “Blazing Spur” for the Barbarian King is the must-have gear this season. It provides a passive speed boost and an active “Fire Trail” that damages buildings as he moves.

3 Pro-Tips to Prepare for March 1st
- Empty Your Season Bank: Tomorrow, your Season Bank (up to 30M+ loot) will overflow your storages. Start a long-duration upgrade (like a Scattershot or Eagle Artillery) today to free up space.
- Hero Awakening Potion: The new February update introduced this potion. Use it tonight if you are in a last-minute Clan War but have a Hero currently upgrading. It “wakes” them up for 1 hour!
- Clan Games Wrap-Up: Hopefully, your clan hit the 50,000-point tier. You have until March 7th to claim your rewards, but it’s best to take the Book of Fighting now to use on those expensive TH18 lab upgrades.
How to Get Free Gems in 2026 (Verified)
- The Obstacle Cycle: Removing a single tree or bush can net you up to 6 gems. In 2026, the spawn rate has been slightly increased for active players.
- Gem Mine (Builder Base): Ensure your Builder Base Gem Mine is at Level 10. It now produces roughly 5 gems per day.
- Achievement Hunting: Check the “League All-Star” achievement. Reaching the Titan League for the first time grants a massive 1,000 Gem bonus.
When that Season Bank hits on March 1st, you’ll have more Gold and Elixir than your storages can hold. To make sure not a single drop is wasted, you need a plan that prioritizes Offense first, followed by the game-changing TH18 Signature Defenses.

Phase 1: The “Instant” Upgrades (Use Your Books/Hammers)
These are the most impactful buildings. If you have Books of Building or Hammers, use them here to get your offense running immediately.
- Laboratory (Book/Hammer): This is the highest priority. TH18 adds massive levels to Healers (crucial for Queen Walks) and Wall Breakers. Getting your troops upgraded is the fastest way to 3-star other TH18s.

Phase 2: Building the New “Guardians”
Town Hall 18 replaces the traditional Giga-weapon with Guardians. You unlock them as soon as the Hall is finished.
- Priority 1: Longshot (Ranged): Most pros recommend maxing Longshot first. Its range and “Final Blow” explosion make it much harder for attackers to snipe than the melee Smasher.
- Priority 2: Smasher (Melee): A great tank for the core, but secondary to the utility of Longshot.
Phase 3: High-Impact Defenses (Spend Your Gold)
Once your offense is underway, dump your Season Bank gold into these heavy hitters:
- Revenge Tower (Signature Defense): This is the TH18 MVP. It deals reactive damage that gets stronger the more your base is destroyed. It’s a “Dark Elixir” upgrade, so use your DE here first!
- Super Wizard Tower (Merged): Merge two Level 17 Wizard Towers to create this. Its chain lightning hits up to 15 targets, making it the ultimate counter to “Root Rider” or “Electro Dragon” spam.
- Multi-Archer & Multi-Gear Towers: These are your most consistent damage dealers against both ground and air.
Phase 4: Hero Pets & Equipment (Spend Your Ores/Dark Elixir)
The 2026 meta is dominated by specific pairings. Do not waste Ores on common gear until these are leveled:
- The Spirit Fox (Priority 1): Pair this with your Royal Champion. The invisibility frames are still the strongest mechanic in the game for clearing the back end of a base.
- The Phoenix (Priority 2): Essential for the Minion Prince or Barbarian King. Those extra seconds of life after “death” are the difference between a 98% 2-star and a triple.
- Hero Equipment: Focus your Glowy and Starry Ores on the Spiky Ball (King) and the Magic Mirror (Queen).
